Is there anything else you want to share with us about this dealership?I'll just post my Google review here.... I just bought an SUV from this dealership and my experience is a mixed bag. Our salesman was great and was very attentive and great to deal with. Unfortunately that's where the good ended. There was no negotiation on the vehicle even though the interior was in poor shape. I did finally agree to their price if they agreed to repair some damage (which they did complete). The worst of it was in the finance office. I came pre-approved from my bank but I agreed to see what rates they could give me. When they came in higher I said I can just go with mine. The finance officer said that the price of the car was contingent on me using their financing. I said wait a minute. I got no discount on the car. I agreed to sticker. They said that it's usually a thousand dollars more if I use my lender. I was about to get up and leave but I caved and just did it knowing I could refinance. This practice is unethical and should be illegal. I would never buy from here again just for this reason. 3/24/22 I had to bring the car in for what I felt was a safety issue (shifter would go into gear with the key out and while running). I had some concerns bringing it back because of my previous dealings but since I only had the car for about 10 days I figured I would take it to them and all would be handled. So I set it up with their service department and notified the sales manager and our salesman. Dropped it off-no problem and got a call back quickly that they found something fouling the shifter. (A simple fix). I was actually glad to hear this. So I came back in the evening to pick it up and they tried to charge me $130. I had to explain that this car was just purchased. A few calls were made and (the service manager I believe?) Came over and began to argue that this issue was not something that would be inspected as part of a safety inspection. I agreed with him, but said it is a safety issue and that it's only been mine for over a week and in VA you have 30 days from the day of purchase to have things repaired. Then he argued that they are charging me because they didn't know if it was a preexisting condition or something I did. So I said to him.. Are you telling me that you are going to charge me for this? He said, no not this time, but I would be charged in the future for anything like this. I thanked him and shook his hand. I was really hoping that this exchange would try to mend some bridges between us, especially after what transpired at the time of the sale. I am sad that even though I got what I expected in the end, it was such a fight to do so.
