Is there anything else you want to share with us about this dealership? The story goes like this -- I was looking for a used Ford Edge. They had one, but sold it to another couple, before I could look at it, and place a deposit. They found another one on Manheim. It was in Alabama, on its way to a Ford holding lot in Atlanta. I arrived at the dealer, and we reviewed pictures and the CarFax review. I gave them a check for a $500 deposit. This is where things get sketchy for me. I do not know who in the dealership knows what, and who they share information with. My salesman and his supervisor, were telling me that they were having a scheduling issue with the transport company. That was a LIE. The dealership strung me along for two weeks -- did the lowly sales guys know, or did they not ? Ultimately a manager fessed up, and told me that the dealer in Atlanta via Manheim, had backed out of the deal. I had originally thought that things were great, and had even provided a positive review of the dealership. I was strung along for two weeks, and I do not know whether the sales guys were in on it. Lastly, it took me almost a month to receive my deposit back. If my sales guys did not know, then I could say that Chase and Dayton might be okay. The rest of the dealership, I just don't have a warm and fuzzy. Also, they DO require that you purchase Lo-Jack. Ultimately, I purchased a new 2022 Ford Edge from Gwinnett Place Ford in Atlanta. A completely different experience with them.
