It did not feel right to me so salesman Noah directed me to a CX-5 which he thought would be a better fit for what I was after. He did a great job of pointing out the features of the vehicle. Unfortunately, they did not have quite everything I was looking for in stock but was able to get a CX-5 Signature on order with an expected delivery date 8-12 weeks out. After I placed the order, I noticed that the color I had wanted was not correct on the ordering document so contacted Noah the next day and he was able to get the order changed to the right color. Given the current supply chain issues, the delivery schedule seemed a bit optimistic to me so was expecting more like 16-20 weeks. I was, however, pleasantly surprised and able to purchase the vehicle 8 weeks and 1 day from the order. Great job Mazda! I was able to buy the car for the price quoted from the MazdaUSA website with no add-ons and the $250 Doc fee. I was offered a few accessories and protection packages but they were very understanding when I declined. As far as financing goes, I was going to go through the preapproval process with my local credit union and when I mentioned that to Noah, he mentioned that they already had a working relationship with them. That saved me a bit of running around to get that paperwork set (although I had to run to the credit union to get part of the down payment - oops). The only downside is that the interest rate increased 0.6% from the original quote (not the dealerships fault) Jeff Schmitt Mazda added a full tank of gas, 2 key fobs, 2 complimentary oil changes, a pen, and USB card with copies of all of the sales documents. I 100% recommend Jeff Schmitt Mazda (salesman Noah, finance specialist Matt, sales manager Michael, and GM Adam) for your next new car buying experience.
