What accessories or protection packages did they require you to purchase and how much did they charge you?I was told on a phone call when I provided a deposit that the car I was reserving would arrive with accessories which would be part of the MSRP. It happened that the accessories were what I would have ordered anyway even before I knew the car was built with them: Carpeted mats (Hyundai no longer was providing mats it seemed), rear cargo cover and mud flaps.
Is there anything else you want to share with us about this dealership? All of my contact with this dealership took place by phone (including texting) exactly one month before delivery. The car was designated "incoming" on their web site. The first time I met my sales person was several days before delivery when I went in to discuss payment. I provided a significant deposit at that time (the CC deposit I made over the phone was never part of the final finances - I joked that I hoped that the person who took my CC info over the phone had shredded the #s). My intention was to pay cash for the car and on the day of delivery I shared this and provided a check for the balance due and I sensed this was not their preference but at no time was I challenged on this - not by the sales person or the F/I manager. They both went over the "menu" of available items but I declined everything and then proceeded to going out to the lot to have the review with the sales person and then drove it home. All of my contacts were pleasant and professional.
