Is there anything else you want to share with us about this dealership? The dealership listed their price online and they were willing to negotiate their price by $1,500 as they were just a bit above the average costs. In addition, at the time, there were a few dozen GLCs within a reasonable distance, not including the Carvava's of the world who would deliver. The SUV itself was one owner, fully maintained at the dealership with all records. No smoking, no accidents, all that good stuff, plus it is CPO and just had its B-Service with new tires and brakes. With all that going for the car, they made no upsell, no extra fees, outside of the $500 "mandatory" profit center (which I negotiated out as part of my $1,500 negotiation - thank you YAA for that!). They also didn't blink an eye when I told them I was a cash buyer or when I declined all the extra warranties, coverages, and pre-paid services. I was so beat up from my previous dealership experiences that I actually worried something was wrong with the vehicle. No worries, they didn't flinch when I took the SUV for a mechanical inspection from a trusted german-house repair shop I use with my other Merceded. The independent shop said it was as good a 2017 as they had seen, and keep in mind it is still under a CPO warranty. This was by far, the best dealership experience I have ever had. Yes, I know I paid more than I would have pre-pandemic, but there was no nonsense or frustration from this dealership.
