They will try to sell you maintenance and extended warranty plans during the closing process, but you can just decline those offers. They also offer a "Preferred Customer" plan that offers discounts on service and parts at the dealership. If you know you're going to keep your car a long time and stay in the area, and drive enough miles to need more than 1 or 2 services each year, you might benefit from this, esp. if you can negotiate a lower price. Otherwise, it may not be worth it. The process was generally painless, although I did spend a lot of time just sitting around waiting for the next person in the process to be available.
