Is there anything else you want to share with us about this dealership? In our attempts to try and order a Subaru Outback Limited in Cinnamon Brown from a couple of dealerships that participated in the Costco Auto Program, we were offered a deal that seemed to good to pass up. After only finding out that the 2 dealerships that participated in the program only were willing to discount the Limited by $350, we tried to give it a shot at a non-participating dealership. When we reached out to McCarthy Subaru in Lawrence, Kansas we spoke with the sales manager (Kyle Case) who was able to guarantee an out-the-door price and even agreed to no additional dealer add-ons aside from our accessories ($657) we chose for $38,238 all in writing! We provided many dealerships with our built vehicle ID from the website to our specifications and ended up finding out after a callback from the sales manager that the color we sought had stopped production since December 2021. We were told that we could pick the same trim and accessories in a different color or that they could also offer us their incoming Touring trim in the same color (perhaps one of the last in transit in that color) at the same cost as the "lesser" trim - saving us $1512 off a regularly priced Touring.. We walked in to the dealership this last Saturday expecting to perhaps fight off additional markups or the recent $500 Subaru markup, but none of that happened from the sales person. We then were asked as to how much we would be putting down since the F &I Manager wanted to know; so we let them know we planned on $35,000. $33,000 was the minimum amount we were able to finance according to the bank that offered us the 1.9% incentive which we thought was fair. Very nice dealership to work with and the fact that the Sales Manager was very helpful from the first email I sent to the first phone call I made, truly makes this dealership shine!
