Is there anything else you want to share with us about this dealership?Despite Hyundai, Iowa city failing to replace a part on my uncle's Hyundai (which has a warranty) we still wanted to give them our business. On Monday 05/02/22 my mom went in to purchase the vehicle she wanted even though the color is not to her taste. Unfortunately, that purchase did not occur since the dealership refused to negotiate at all. The manager was set on selling at 42k despite this 2020 USED Kona electric sitting on the lot for 177+ days. We thanked the salesman for his time and walked out. It’s clear that this dealership does not want to create a loyal local customer base. We won’t be returning here. The same vehicle of interest at an out-of-state dealership is priced at 32k with only 606 miles while the one at Iowa City (Billion) Hyundai is priced at 42k out the door with nearly 5k miles. Breaks never changed, tires never changed, etc. It wasn’t the salesman’s fault entirely it was his manager who vetoed any negotiation happen which is unfortunate for all parties. This was our first time going to a dealership that absolutely refused to negotiate. Nick was helpful and attentive to my mom's questions and even admitted that we would be better off purchasing from the non-local dealership. Good luck & Godspeed buyers.
