What accessories or protection packages did they require you to purchase and how much did they charge you? | The "package" was not REALLY that over priced, since I had already done some preliminary protection package pricing before. I got front ceramic window tint, door edge guards, and locking lug nuts for $400. It had already been done to the vehicle. This dealership does the "pretty hard sell" on "extended" warranties, both vehicle and maintenance packages. The only real beef that I had was that these are NOT Ford Motor Company warranty packages, but third party. They resell MPP. |

Is there anything else you want to share with us about this dealership? | Yes, this is a Car Dealer, but they actually made the buying process, with the exception of F&I, pretty cool. I started with a contact to the "Chat" person at the dealership. That was followed up with a video message from "LT" my sales guy. Completely different from the horrible dealership in Edgefield, SC -- not the sales guy, but the dealership. "LT" assured me that I would not have a bad experience with Gwinnett Place Ford, and he was right. Ford was providing a rebate on the 2022 Edge, and GPF gave me an additional $1000 off of that. If you visit GPF, ask for "LT" and tell him "Rip" sent you. He will treat you right and fair. I had no trade-in, but did have a good down payment check to offer. I will buy my next Ford, probably a Ranger, from this dealership. |
