Is there anything else you want to share with us about this dealership? | So, I was able to get my Maverick (one of the hottest selling vehicles at MSRP and with no addon, however, Rodeo Ford does add-on crap, about $1900 worth of protection.
So the dealership made some mistakes regarding my deal, they assumed I had strong credit and quoted me an insanely cheap interest rate, I did get approved by Ford Credit but not at 0.9% but the dealership NEVER checked with Ford on what my interest rate would be (First big mistake) they sent me the paperwork with the interest rate (via email) I agreed to it and signed the paperwork. When I got to the dealership they had egg on their face (I was surprised at what the dealer quoted me knowing I didn't have perfect credit) however, they did make things right and bought the rate down to an acceptable 4.9% (even at 4.9% was low since I was being quoted 10+% by other banks) through Ford Credit. So I was very happy with this, since they didn't have to do this and basically tell me to pound sand because of how hot the Mavericks are selling (mine is a hybrid.) So I was very pleased.
My only true issue was with the F&I guy, slimeball, your typical F&I person, trying to be my bud, he tried to sneak in a wheel and tire package into the deal (READ ALL PAPERWORK) when I caught this, and showed it to him, he acted surprised. After that was taken out of the dealer, my payments were lowered by $30/m! Of course with this saving he tried to get me to purchase an extended warranty.. Over all I was happy that I was able to get a great deal. |
