Is there anything else you want to share with us about this dealership? After dealing with the sales dept. the finance people were up. I did/do pick up the extended warranty mostly due to the electronics. I asked for the 7 year, 10,000 mile from Ford, not a 3rd party. I had purchased a 2021 Ford Explorer ST from Earnhardt Ford in December 2021 and paid $1,800 for the same warranty I requested. Horne Ford started at about $3, 000. I said if you match Earnhardt's price I will buy it, otherwise I will go to Earnhardt. He said he will match it but the paperwork will reflect the initial price but the sales price will be reduced. I went with it as the OTD price was the same. My deal with Earnhardt in 2021 was by far financially more positive than the 2022 Explorer in the current market conditions. However, in this market I don't think I got raped too bad. At least they whispered sweet nothings to me.
